The Odisha government has introduced a scholarship named Odisha Nua-O across the Odisha state. The government has introduced this scheme for all those students who are studying in the UG or PG courses in the Odisha state. Under this scheme the government will provide an amount as Odisha Nua-O Scholarship For UG, PG to all those students who are studying in their UG or PG courses. The government takes this initiative to provide some financial support to all the students who are pursuing their undergraduate and postgraduate courses. It is expected that approximately 450000 students of UG and 32000 students of PG courses will get the benefits under this scheme. Odisha Nua-O Scholarship For UG, PG
The chief minister of Odisha Mr Naveen Patnayak has launched an initiative named Odisha Nua-O Scholarship For all the students who are studying in UG, PG courses. All the students who are studying in their UG and PG courses will be paid a scholarship amount of Rs. 9000 to Rs. 11000 by the government. The main motive of the government to launch this scheme is to provide some financial support to all those students who are studying in their Bachelor’s or post Graduation courses so that they can continue their studies without worrying about money. Under this initiative all male candidates will get a Odisha Nua-O Scholarship Amount of Rs. 9000 and all female candidates will get a scholarship amount of Rs. 10000 annually.
All the male candidates who belong to the SC & ST, and Nirman Shramik category will get the scholarship amount of Rs. 10000 and female candidates of this category will get Rs. 11000 annually under the scheme. The beneficiary amount of this scholarship will be directly credited into the bank account of the student. All the students of Odisha state are eligible to get the benefits of this scholarship excluding the students whose parents are in government Job.

Odisha Nua-O Scholarship Benefits
- This scholarship is applicable only for PG and UG students.
- Under this scheme all male candidates will get a scholarship amount of Rs. 9000 and all female candidates will get a scholarship amount of Rs. 10000 annually.
- All the male candidates who belong to the SC & ST, and Nirman Shramik category will get the scholarship amount of Rs. 10000 and female candidates of this category will get Rs. 11000 annually
